Kindness/Unity Week

This year for spirit week we will have kindness/unity week on Monday, October 22 through Friday, October 26. All of the days will be dress-up days. We invite students to dress according to the theme of the day. Let’s show and promote kindness!

  • Monday - Crayon Day - Every class will come in a specific color chosen by the homeroom teacher.
  • Tuesday - Multiple Day - Students may dress up the same way as another person or other people. Check with homeroom teacher.
  • Wednesday - Green and Gold Day - Show your school pride! All students will wear green and gold clothes.
  • Thursday - Throwback Thursday - Every class will dress up as a specific decade chosen by their teacher.
  • Friday - Future Friday/Role Model Day - Students will dress up as a future career or role model they want to pursue.

As we prepare for Halloween, please keep in mind costumes that are appropriate for school. Please refrain from costumes that are scary (bloody/violent), clown costumes, no masks, costumes must be modest (not too tight or too short), and please leave any weapon accessories at home. Makeup and hair color are acceptable. We will have our school parade in the Parish Center following morning prayer. In addition, our room parents will be hosting an outdoor trick or treat activity for all students with our monthly birthday parties following. We are asking each student to bring one (30 count) bag of candy for our trick or treating. Students can bring candy to the classroom from Tuesday, October 9 through Friday, October 19. Thank you so much for your support and generosity.

Preparing For An Emergency

On Wednesday, October 17 we will conduct our yearly emergency evacuation drill. We will only release students to adults listed on the emergency form. Everyone must present a valid ID in order for us to release the students from the school. Please be sure to update your emergency contact information and arrange to pick up your children at 12:00 p.m. There will be no afternoon extended care on October 17 so that we can practice what would take place in a real emergency. Thank you for your support and cooperation.

Morning Drop Off Reminder

Please take care not to stand in the walkway leading up to the gate or in front of the gate entrance as students need to be able to pass through. Many students are unable to walk freely without asking parents to move so they can get by. Thank you for your support.
