Preparing for an Emergency
On Wednesday, October 11, we will conduct our yearly emergency evacuation drill. We will only release students to adults listed on the emergency form. To release a student from school, everyone must present a valid I.D. Please be sure to update your emergency contact information and arrange for your child(ren) to be picked up at 12:00 p.m. There will be no afternoon extended care on October 11 so that we can practice what would take place in a real emergency. Thank you for your support and cooperation.
Blessing Our Cherished Pets
On Wednesday, October 4, we invite you to bring your special pets to be blessed after the 9:30 a.m. school mass. Please be sure to ask permission from your teacher before bringing in your animals. If you are unable to bring your live pet, you can bring a picture or stuffed animal to the blessing. Family members, parishioners, and staff members are welcome to bring their pets too!
Honoring Our Hornet Students
Our first monthly prayer service (lead by 8th grade) and awards assembly will take place on Friday, September 29 at 8:15 a.m. in the parish center. We invite all families to attend and celebrate our faith and our students’ accomplishments. We will be recognizing students who receive the Hornet of the Month award for demonstrating exceptional achievement or growth. We also honor students who receive a Student Learning Expectation (SLE) award for exemplifying the SLE of the month.
Dining Out With Families
Back by popular demand are the fundraising dining opportunities! Eat out with family and friends, order take-out, or share flyers with neighbors and co-workers to help earn money towards your mandatory fundraising goal. Here is a list of our upcoming dinner fundraisers:
We will send details for each restaurant fundraiser via email or in the family envelope. Thank you for your support.
